We are a community of friends that collaborate to facilitate positive change in our local and global community.

We have a passion to see others know their value and purpose in life. The Root provides a platform for people to connect and dream to create and sustain positive change in their local communities.
​
We are currently working in Naivasha, Kenya where we have spent time listening to the local community and facilitating conversation to
elicit the changes that they want to see for their community.
​
We recognise the importance of people being able to share their skills, knowledge and resources and facilitate opportunities for this to happen through trips to visit the areas we work in.
THE VISION
The Roots vision is to empower communities to make positive change through the sharing of knowledge, skills and resources.
In August 2016 the Root met with local people in Naivasha Kenya. They identified that a community centre would make a positive difference. The community centre will provide a range of services including:

Lunch club for older people
Training & Employment Hub
Homework club for children and young people
Youth club with an emphasis on the creative arts
Business start up workshops
Community events and performances
Sports events
